An astonishing dive off Pura island where nearly every surface of the slope is carpeted with bulb-tentacle sea anemones, reckoned to be among the highest anemone concentrations anywhere. Clark's and tomato anemonefish dart between hosts, and volcanic bubbles seep from the seabed in the shallows. A unique, easy site that doubles as a sign of Pura's volcanic origin.

Two underwater pinnacles (tops at about 7 m and 2 m) lying northwest of Kepa island in the Pantar Strait, swept by the powerful Indonesian Throughflow. When the fierce, shifting currents calm enough to dive, it offers spectacular fish action with dogtooth tuna, Napoleon wrasse, trevally and sweetlips over current-flattened coral. One of Alor's flagship advanced dives, only run when conditions are right.
