The Arch (Ternate)
East Nusa Tenggara · 5–35 m
A striking wall dive off Ternate island where large underwater crevices form a sizeable arch at roughly 20 to 30 m. Coral cover is very healthy with whip corals and gorgonians, and the long whip corals can host rare wire-coral shrimp. Impressive topography of walls, arches and overhangs makes it one of the most dramatic dives in the Alor area.

The Canyon (Pulau Weh)
Aceh · 10–40 m
A signature Pulau Weh dive on a large pinnacle split into two, creating a central canyon between rocky outcrops that range from about 10 to 30 m, with a deeper west wall of nutrient-rich gorgonians dropping toward 60 m. Massive sea-fan forests are blanketed in clouds of Indian triggerfish, while giant and bluefin trevally hunt in packs. Currents make for an exciting dive with reef macro life on the rocks.

The Cathedral (Motolang)
East Nusa Tenggara · 5–35 m
A spectacular site between Pura and Alor where a steep above-water cliff continues underwater as jumbled boulders and a coral-clad wall of hard and soft corals and sponges. A swim-through with a cave at around 25 m can shelter resting tawny nurse sharks, while the reef holds pygmy and Pontohi seahorses, frogfish and blue-ringed octopus. Dramatic topography makes it an Alor favourite.

Too Many Fish (Koon Island)

A celebrated reef off the eastern tip of Koon Island where strong nutrient flow drives extraordinary fish density, living up to the site's name with walls of snapper, fusiliers and surgeonfish plus schooling barracuda. Pelagics such as tuna and trevally patrol the edge, while the reef shelters macro life including nudibranchs and pygmy seahorses. Mild to moderate currents make it accessible to a range of divers.
