Site details

The Aida (Aida II) was a 75 m Italian-built vessel later used as an Egyptian troop and supply transport that struck the western side of Big Brother Island in September 1957. The wreck lies on a steep slope with the bow around 25 m and the stern dropping to roughly 60 m, now richly overgrown with corals. It sits about 100 m from the Numidia and is reserved for experienced divers because of the depth and current.
