Very shallow (3-4.6 m) site between reefs on the north side of Baileys Harbor, fully exposed to Lake Michigan weatherwave surge in onshore winds can make it undiveable; watch for recreational boat traffic; cold freshwater year-round (drysuit or thick wetsuit advised). The wreck is on the National Register of Historic Places — removing or disturbing artifacts is illegal. Do not anchor on the wreck; use the mooring buoy.
