EntrySnorkelers: walk in from the swim beaches beside Fort Jefferson's moat wall on Garden Key. Divers: giant stride or back-roll from charter/private boat at sites such as the Windjammer (Avanti) wreck off Loggerhead Key, Little Africa reef, or Texas Rock.
ExitSnorkelers exit at the Garden Key beaches. Boat divers reboard via the vessel's ladder; allow long surface intervals and conservative profiles given the remoteness from medical care.
ParkingNo vehicle access — depart from Key West by Yankee Freedom ferry (book 1-2+ months ahead), seaplane, or private/charter boat. Dive tanks and weights are not allowed on the ferry or seaplane; scuba requires a charter (Finz Dive Center is the approved concessionaire, public trips ~$840/pp, private ~$2,800) or your own vessel with a park boat permit.
