Site details

The southern tip of Elphinstone widens into a 100m-wide plateau between 20 and 40m, carpeted with soft corals, large gorgonians, sponges and sea whips. On the western side of this plateau several cave entrances open at 30-35m. It is a reliable spot for reef sharks and seasonal oceanic whitetips along the drop-off.
