Site details

A dive site in Switzerland. It is accessible from shore.

Passenger ferry trafficcourse ships (Kursschiffe) pass close offshore; deploy a surface marker buoy before ascending to avoid a missed-ascent collision. Sheer, partly overhanging limestone wall — drops past 100 m with no natural bottom stop, easy to exceed a planned depth or no-decompression limit without tight buoyancy control. Cold alpine lake water year-round, typical of Lake Thun sites.
