A sheltered cove adjoining Crescent Beach State Park in Cape Elizabeth with free parking, toilets and a boardwalk to an easy sand-beach entry, making it a beginner favorite and frequent class site. Eelgrass beds give way to ledges and crevices, with the best route crossing into the next cove to the left; depths stay shallow (roughly 25 feet). As state land, park diving rules apply: carry your C-card, display the free permit, and no solo diving.
