Site details

A shallow plankton-rich plateau off Sangalaki island where reef manta rays congregate year-round to feed and visit cleaning stations, frequently seen barrel-rolling at 5 to 15 m. The island is also a major green-turtle nesting site, so turtles are a near-constant presence. An easy, magical site that is one of the Derawan archipelago's signature dives.
