Connecticut's most popular shore dive, at the tip of Stonington Borough where two stone jetties shelter a sandy beach entry. The shoreline slopes gently to about 20 feet over boulder fields covered in kelp and seaweed, and Gulf Stream-carried tropical juveniles appear in late summer. It is an easy, protected site widely used for training and night dives.
