Site details

Tako Flats is a sheltered inner-crater Molokini sand channel with coral heads and rubble, named for octopus encounters. It is one of the more approachable Molokini sites for scuba, snorkel, freedive, and SNUBA guests in calm conditions. The sand channel helps navigation, but coral-head buoyancy control still matters.
