Kauai's premier shore dive, an old whaling-era boat landing at Whalers Cove near Poipu with a concrete ramp leading straight into a protected cove. A horseshoe reef in 5-50 ft hosts unusually large coral heads for Kauai, resident green turtles, and up to seven moray species including the rare dragon eel. Divable most of the year thanks to its sheltered south-shore position.
