A South Kohala shore-diving area along Puako Beach Drive with several entries over a protective rocky shelf. Fingers of old lava flows form swim-throughs, arches, collapsed lava tubes and coral canyons running out to a sand flat at about 70 ft where garden eels live. One of the Big Island's best combinations of easy(ish) shore access and structure.
