EntryEasy walk-in entry off the gently sloping sandy beach at Diver's Cove (north end of Sand Harbor). Gear up near the beach and wade in; the cove's rocks, PVC buoyancy obstacle course, small sunken barge and Project Baseline station are all within the buoyed area at ~30 ft.
ExitSurface inside the swim buoys and walk out on the sand beach. If you ventured onto the deeper slope beyond the buoys, tow your flag and watch for boats on the way back in.
Parking$15/day ($10 for NV residents) at Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park, 5 miles south of Incline Village on Hwy 28. Park opens 8 a.m. and lots fill extremely fast in summer - arrive at or before opening (cars line up in high season). About 150 ft minimum from parking to the water.
