Blue Light Cave (Kakaban)
East Kalimantan · 2–44 m
A technical cavern dive on Kakaban island that begins at a crack about 2 m deep and descends through a narrow chimney. Around 21 m the chimney opens into a large cavern extending roughly 120 m, exiting through a long vertical crack in the wall at about 44 m. The name comes from the striking blue glow of the sea seen from within the cavern; it is a deep overhead-environment dive for experienced divers only.

A drift dive on a current-swept slope off Tanjung Bira at the southern tip of South Sulawesi, known for big-fish action with frequent sharks and the occasional hammerhead. Tuna, trevally, schooling pelagics and cod patrol the reef when current runs. A rewarding advanced site sometimes combined with trips to nearby Selayar and Takabonerate.

Good corals, a lot of turtles but not a big variety of fishes. But still this spot worth a try. The stream kindly bring you to the west, so you can look the coral around the south of the island.
