U.S. Virgin Islands - St. Croix · 2–14 m
Frederiksted Pier is a shallow macro and night-dive site under the working cruise pier on St. Croix's west coast. Colorful sponge-covered pilings, rubble, sand patches, and older pier remnants support seahorses, frogfish, batfish, turtles, eels, rays, octopus, and many crustaceans. It is beginner-friendly in calm conditions, but it is still an active port area with access restrictions.
U.S. Virgin Islands - St. Thomas · 12–30 m
French Cap Pinnacle is an exposed offshore pinnacle south of St. Thomas, usually visited only when sea state is cooperative. The main feature is a cluster of rock spires rising from roughly 95 ft / 29 m to about 40 ft / 12 m, with fish activity around the summit and morays/octopus hiding in cracks. It is a special-trip boat dive rather than a casual daily site.

Garden Eel Cove, also called Manta Heaven at Makako Bay, is Kona's northern manta night-dive/snorkel site near Keahole Point. It is boat-only and operator-managed, with conservation rules focused on no-touch/no-chase manta viewing.

Great Isaac is a large V4-M-A1 ocean tug wreck off southern New Jersey. NJScuba describes the wreck in about 90 ft / 27 m, lying on its port side and partly buried, with exposed ribs and structure. This is an offshore wreck dive for experienced divers, not a beginner reef stop.

North Tumon Bay shore reef with a known cable/pipe channel through the shallow reef flat. It can be snorkeled or dived from shore, and boats may also use the area. The best diving is on the healthy coral side once past the reef flat; the return through the channel/current is the key skill.

Boat-access coral mound in Agat Bay, often used as a mellow reef dive or second dive after deeper southern/Orote sites. The mound rises from surrounding sand and mixed reef to a shallower crest, creating an easy profile with good small reef-fish life.

Honokohau Harbor is mostly Kona's dive-boat hub, but the nearby Crescent Beach/Alua/Naiʻa Bay shore entry is also a real local dive. The dive crosses a lava-walk approach to a small cove and follows a reef/sand slope near the active harbor entrance. It is a specialty shore dive rather than a general beginner reef, mainly for experienced divers who understand the boat-traffic and shark-context hazards.

Access is controlled by permitted boat/kayak operations and conservation rules rather than casual self-guided motorboat access.

Koloa Landing is a protected Hanakaape Bay shore dive and snorkel site on Kauai's south shore. The old landing/harbor area has a U-shaped reef, sandy/rubble center, reef walls, and historic boating remnants such as anchor chain. It is useful for training, beginner scuba, snorkelers, and relaxed critter dives when surf is calm.
Puerto Rico - Lajas/La Parguera · 10–40 m
Boat-access southwest Puerto Rico wall system off La Parguera, with named dives such as Black Wall, Old Buoy, Chimney, and Enrique. Recreational profiles commonly start around the upper wall, while the wall drops far beyond recreational limits. Keep the record as an advanced wall area and split named sites later when precise coordinates are available.
Florida · 3–7.6 m
Lugano is a 350-foot British iron cargo steamer on Long Reef in Biscayne National Park's Maritime Heritage Trail. The wreck lies in about 25 ft / 7.6 m and is best treated as a shallow protected archaeological wreck on reef, not a penetration dive. Expect low-profile iron hull and frame remains with reef growth and fish life.
Hawaii - Oahu · 8–14 m
West Oahu lava-tube/cavern and reef system near Makaha/Kepuhi Point. The site has open-ended swim-throughs, skylights, collapsed tube sections, and frequent turtles, puffers, lobsters, and whitetip reef sharks. Boat access is preferred for scuba; confident snorkelers/freedivers may use calm windows but should avoid overhead areas beyond training.

Mana Crack is a remote offshore fringing reef/ledge system off Kauai's west/Na Pali side with multiple drop points and drift profiles. Mandalay is a 112-foot steel-hulled schooner wreck embedded on Long Reef in Biscayne National Park. It is one of the park's best shallow wreck experiences and is especially useful for snorkelers, freedivers, and beginner scuba divers when conditions are calm. Treat it as a protected archaeological reef site rather than a wreck-penetration dive.

Mohawk is the wreck of a 387 ft Clyde-Mallory/Ward Line passenger-cargo liner sunk after a 1935 collision. The wreck is a large debris field with bow and stern structure remaining and a max depth around 80 ft / 24 m. It is an established New Jersey boat wreck, separate from R.C. Mohawk and older Mohawk records.
Puerto Rico - Vieques · 1–12.2 m
Former military pier/breakwater on Vieques with artificial-reef structure, macro life, and frequent easy shore-dive use. It is shallow enough for snorkeling and freediving and commonly used for beginner scuba and night dives. Keep clear of pier structure, fishing line, and boat traffic.
Alaska · 3–17 m
The MV Leschi is a former Lake Washington/Puget Sound ferry and later Alaska fish-processing vessel that ended up in Shotgun Cove near Whittier. It is one of the few Alaska wreck candidates with independent evidence as an actual dive site, but public condition details are sparse. Treat it as a cold-water boat wreck for self-sufficient divers with local boat support.

Shallow protected marine-preserve site around the Fish Eye observatory and Piti Bomb Holes. The site is useful for beginner scuba, snorkelers, freedivers, classes, and macro/reef-fish photography, with easy access from the park/sea bridge area and strict no-take/no-touch expectations.

Prince Kuhio Beach/Park is a shallow south-shore Kauai reef pocket best known for snorkeling and turtle encounters, with scuba possible for divers comfortable with a rocky, shallow entry. It is not a deep or high-volume scuba site; treat it as a calm-condition shore reef/snorkel spot. Koloa Landing is usually the easier nearby scuba option.
